Mr. Wheeler Davis 'Junior' Cooper, Jr., 82, of Thomaston, died Sunday, September 1st, 2013 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Mr. Cooper was born in Taylor County on October 22, 1930, a son of the late Wheeler Davis Cooper and Dora B. Thompson Cooper. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and held the rank of Staff Sergeant. Mr. Cooper was formerly employed by the William Carter Company. He was a member of Kings Chapel Baptist Church and served as a Deacon. Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Martha Smith Cooper; two sons, Aaron Cooper and Mark Cooper, both of Thomaston; a sister, Frances (Billy) Brown of Thomaston; sisters-in-law, Wilma Cooper of Macon, and Mary Jimmerson, Ruby (J. B.) McKinley and Addie (Kenneth) McInvale, all of Thomaston; brother-in-law, Bobby Brown of Thomaston; special nieces, Pam (Barry) Lord and Audra (Norman Russ) Bridges, both of Thomaston; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Ann Tomlin Cooper; Brother, Charles Cooper, and Sister, Betty Brown
