William Eugene Johnson

Mr. William E. (Gene) Johnson, age 71, of 105 L. Street, died Saturday Morning in Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Monday Afternoon at 2 o'clock in Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Dean Hemphill will officiate. Interment will be in Upson Memorial Gardens, with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnson was a native of Upson County. He retired from Robins Air Foce Base where he was employed in the Sales Redistribution and Marketing Division. He was also employed by the City of Thomston for five and one-half years. Mr. Johnson was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson is survived by: His Wife - Mrs. Phyllis Littleton Johnson, of Thomaston; 1 Sister - Mrs. Nellie Buchanan, of Thomaston; 1 Niece - Mrs. Tomie Ellen (Eddie) Bradley, of Peterstown, West Virginia; 1 Nephew - Mr. Keith (Jay) Johnson,of Germany
