Willie W. Bentley

September 25, 1916 — June 1, 2010

Mrs. Bentley was a native of Bartow, GA., a daughter of the late Willie Williams and Lula Smith Williams, but had lived in Thomaston for 75 years. She was a homemaker and also worked for nine years as a seamstress for the William Carter Company, and later as an aide at Rock Hill Elementary School. Mrs. Williams was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Rock Hill Home Demonstration Club and the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bentley and her twin sister, Lula Williams Hardy. Mrs. Bentley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Rachel Bentley; her grandchildren, Matt and Jessica Bentley of Thomaston, Katie and Anthony Green of Atlanta; Jeanna Bentley of Panama City, FL, and Will Bentley of Denver, CO; and her great-grandchildren, Dylan and Macy.
